Simply Speedlights 20th. May 2023 with Darcie Louise at JFYP studio

This will be our first event since JFYP Studio relocated to Manvers. Darcie Louise will be joining us for a group event where we will be exploring what different effects we can achieve with simply speedlights and a grey background. We will aim to produce an “Old Master” painting look, a gel image, pinup style images with different colour backgrounds and some black and white images. The images on the day will be suitable to use as you normally would but with some additional editing in Lightroom and Photoshop you should be able to get images looking similar to those seen below. The editing should be fairly straightforward but to help, anyone attending will have access to an online video afterwards where I talk about some techniques I used to get the looks you see below. I’m not a trained educator but hopefully you will find the video helpful. The event is limited to a maximum of 4 photographers and the cost will be £55 for the event which will be from 11.00 – 14.00 on Saturday May 20th. 2023.
