When it all goes to plan

So, I had an idea, I had a studio and I had a model, would they all come together to produce the final image? In this case the answer was most certainly, yes.

I’d been looking at a few of Jack Vettriano’s prints and the style appealed to me. The pastel shades, the quirkiness of the characters and, quite often, umbrellas and so with that in mind I set off to Hallam Mill Studio.

The model for the shoot was Bobbi Castle, a young model from the North East who I hadn’t met before so I didn’t really know if we would be able to work together and turn the idea into a reality. I needn’t have worried, Bobbi proved to be the perfect model and produced some wonderful poses that I think work perfectly.

We tried out a few more ideas during the shoot with equally good results so I may post some of those at a future date, but for now here are a few more of the umbrella shots.
